" I was very shy growing up, I bottled up my feelings and suppressed my creativity, so my voice went unheard. At age eleven my poem was published; I was asked to recite it in front of the whole school - I declined "
ΔM₱ÖMΔH suffered from anxiety, stage and public speaking fright, particularly reading aloud. Her English class made her feel very uncomfortable, always refusing to read aloud in class; her classmates assumed she could not read throughout her entire secondary school years.
Unexpectedly, later on in life two significant events changed her life. The first came about when her father died in front of her in 2005 and the second was the murder of her son’s father in 2011. The first turning point she vowed to face her fears, share her voice and create to her full potential. The second put here in freeze mode and broke her in a way that silenced her voice once again.
ΔM₱ÖMΔH knows first-hand how it feels to be unable to communicate and express how she feels, fortunately she was able to use her experiences as a catalyst for her own self development. Along her journey she found a need to make a difference and empower others to do the same.
She is an avid activist and social entrepreneur via The One Wing Project, developed to facilitate intimate interactions and provide a safe space for those who want to creatively express, find their voice and self – develop.
Predominantly working with young people and female groups globally (especially those who have had adverse life experiences)
She is privileged to do amazing collaborative empowerment and support the journey of others within the arts and education industries, play services, the community and corporate sectors.
